About Taiwan Best Mart
Taiwanese street food
Located at 2219 10th St, Sacramento, CA 95818, Taiwan Best Mart operates as a restaurant serving Sacramento in California. This page gathers the practical details people usually look for before visiting: where it is, how to reach it, when it opens and how customers rate it.
This group covers the non-Asian restaurants, cafes, bars and food businesses that also appear in a mixed-cuisine food scene, including American diners, pizza, Mexican food, burgers, steakhouses and bakeries. Standard US restaurant norms apply: lunch and dinner service with a quieter stretch between, cards and tap-to-pay accepted almost everywhere, and a tip of 15-20% customary for table service. Fast food and quick-service counters expect payment up front and tipping is optional. Bars check ID for anyone who looks under 30, and the drinking age is 21 nationwide. Many restaurants in this group take reservations online through third-party platforms, while casual and fast-food spots are walk-in only. Sales tax is added at the register on top of the menu price and varies by city and state, so the final total is usually a few percent higher than the posted prices suggest.
The business lists hours on 6 days of the week. On most of those days it is open 10:30 amβ7:30 pm. It is closed on Tuesday. As with most places, expect changes around holidays; the phone number below is the fastest way to confirm. The listed phone number is (916) 498-1698. Many businesses also reply to text messages on the same number if it is a cell phone. More information is available on its website, pos.chowbus.com.
Customers rate it 4.7 out of 5 on Google across 190 reviews, placing it among the better-regarded restaurants in Sacramento.
Sacramento is in California, on the West Coast, where the climate ranges from foggy coast to hot inland valleys, wildfire season can affect air quality in late summer, and traffic is the main thing to plan around. Getting around Sacramento is easiest by car; street parking is metered in busy downtown areas, and most suburban businesses have their own lot. Ride-share apps such as Uber and Lyft operate across California's larger cities, and public transit varies from extensive to minimal.

Been wanting to try this place after eating at Very Fresh Noodles in the Chelsea Market in NYC, and that finally happened today! Got the beef noodle soup and friend got the popcorn chicken bento with scrambled eggs and eggplant as the sides. Tomato with the scrambled eggs were fire! My soup was a mix of subtly spicy and sour. The noodles and broth were good. I also grabbed a bag of frozen xiao long bao to go. They have other foods that they make and you can buy frozen too, like dumplings, scallion pancake, broth and sausages.

Hm.. I wanted to like this place but was disappointed. :( I came here because of all the reviews and a recommendation from a Youtuber I follow but it was underwhelming. I got the chili wonton and it didn't look like some of the (older I guess) reviews which were bigger and didn't have oyster(?) sauce as well... (That sauce really ruined it for me..) I saw one cilantro leaf, mostly scallions, and mostly wonton skin with quarter sized filling. It was pricey too.. for a small dish but we are from out of state so we may not be used to the higher pricing in CA. The sausage was good though. The purple rice my husband had in his sausage bowl was hard, dry, and not flavorful. I liked the winter melon tea. It was sweet and refreshing. Maybe their other menu items are better.

Shared the basil popcorn chicken ($11), fried potstickers ($6.50) and a soda ($2) for lunch today. The potstickers were super crisp and tasty. The chicken was tender and marinated with a mini-crunch Quickly-style breading on the outside. Finally the star of the show was the purple rice (!) cooked with pork stew broth and topped with pickled mustard, fried garlic and greens. I loved this rice. I will come back for this same dish. Also love the convenient bike parking out front.

10 people coming in here as a group for lunch is difficult. There are a very small shop work very limited seating. They had to bring out a fold out table for us. Between our group and all the walk in orders, some of us finished eating before others got their food. I think we overwhelmed them but they did a good job getting us fed. The bento boxes are good. So between the 10 of us recommended popcorn chicken, oyster pancake, wonton soup and the beef noodle soup. So several that's got different bento boxes. I got the pork belly which I really liked my friend. Got the popcorn chicken , and then my other friend got the fried pork chop. Only three of us in our group have experienced Taiwanese food, one of them being a person who grew up in Taiwan. The other seven really enjoyed their feud and was happy we picked this place. I just like to point out we came on a Sunday afternoon for lunch and it was slamming here.

Let me just start this with saying I am half Taiwanese/ half Japanese. Iβve been to Taiwan multiple times in my life, this is the closest Iβve gotten to feeling like I am back there. The food is fire, you can take it to go, eat it there, it doesnβt matter itβs still fire. 10/10 will recommend, tastes like my grandmothers cooking.
